Galleria di Palazzo degli Alberti
Although the first works painted by Fra Filippo for clients in Prato go back to 1452-53, some of his youthful works have been acquired by the city, like a small, precious Madonna and Child that belongs to the Cariprato Collection (now on exhibit in the show Sacred Influences at the Cathedral Museum), where it is possible to detect the influence of Masaccio in the assured rendering of the volumes.
