Poste Italiane, the Italian postal service, celebrated the wall paintings of Filippo Lippi in the Duomo of Prato with the issue of seven million postage stamps for circulation in the world.
On Tuesday, October 25, 2005, two stamps were released - one for 0.45 Euro and one for 1.50 Euro – each reproducing two details from the wall painting cycles dedicated to the “Stories of Saint Stephen and John the Baptist”.
